Navy would be better than Richmond lax

They are in the Syracuse to Virginia gap.
They are in the area vacated by Maryland
They are in the Lax hotness state of Maryland
They are usually very good, better than Richmond
They even have a nice traditional connection to Notre Dame
They would be a great ACC tournament host.

Navy is uniquely attractive as a Lax addition the ACC. Plus adding a team (any team) would give us an auto qualifier to the NCAA tournament. We probably don't need that, though, but it would be nice to have.

It would also be better to have more than four teams in our tournament. Adding a sixth would allow for a couple of play-in games (I don't think we currently do play ins). Last year (with Navy) I think that would have been ND, UVa, Navy, and UNC playing for the 3rd and 4th ACC playoffs spots. That seems like a good idea, given the needs of the ACC network.
