Old State club is lovely if a bit isolated. Their club dining place is fab.

Not certain if it is private as I have always gone with others. I'll bet you could talk your way in. Up there you are not too far from Lexington/Thomasville if you like BBQ. Five Points is supposed to be good. Don't know about the Brewery. Childress Brewery is near Lexington if you head that way.
If you head to River Wild or Tillery Tradition (eagles nest)and are so inclined I'll meet and treat you to a drink if I can squeeze it in. Tuesday or Wednesday eve is best for me! Enjoy!
