Stay downtown. Lots of new hotels have opened up recently.

Easy Uber if you want to hit up the breweries. I'd recommend Ardent and go from there. All within walking distance. Lots of good food around, depends on what you want, what you want to spend, what vibe etc. Yelp won't let you down.
