We haven't been the same team since it started a while back.

Back in the old days, it was really true when you could say, "an average back is all you really need when you've got a solid OL."

That's not true anymore. Zone blocking puts "vision" at the top of the list of running back attributes. Above size, speed, or explosiveness. There's no 5 hole or 6 hole...the line blocks in a direction, and its the backs job to "FIND" some daylight. I see our backs missing the cutback lanes over and over again, and its all about cutback running in the zone scheme.

I am at a total loss why we continue to waste downs trying to run McClease in this fashion. He's not cut out for it anymore than McMillian was.
