Our offensive line issues have more to do with zone blocking schemes and influence blocking in my opinion. I would love to see us line up and power block like we did back in the old 80's when the stallions were running wild. Early Beamer teams used iso blocking schemes and power running game. It all changed somewhere in the 2000's when zone reads and RPO's started coming into play. Its hard to block someone when you are going sideways and they are coming full steam ahead!!! If anyone with more offensive line knowledge has a different opinion I'd love to hear it.
