I agree! Fun TV but not exactly realistic. My personal favorite absurdity


is the silent running standoff with the Romulans. People go ape when Spock drops a wrench. And don't get me started on the 10 whole minutes it takes for Kirk to uninstall the cloaking device from the Romulan ship and another 10 for Scottie to install it and power it by cross circuiting to the main warp engines. I still watch it though!
