NICB VIN check to see if used car has been salvaged from hurricane floods.


They talked about this on the Today show.There will be a lot of flood damaged cars on the market in the next few months. The VIN check link is kind of limited though - appears it only checks if the car has been reported as stolen or salvaged. If the car had been flooded, but prior owner didn't have the car totaled, it wouldn't show anything. But it's an additional FREE tool to use.
