Johnson finished the year at #133 on the point list, so he again misses out on the playoffs. He should be well-positioned to get a bunch of starts again next year, although he will not be fully exempt.

He played much better the last 5 weeks - each finish in the Top 33. Seven straight cuts and 9 of the last 10, including 7 in the Top 33.

Weekends were his nemesis this year, although he has improved the past few events.
Thurs - 69.95
Fri - 68.68
Sat - 70.50
Sun - 70.93

Next - he has earned his way into the Web.com tour finals (along with 149 others). It is a 4 week playoff that ends up awarding another 25 exempt tour cards

Bottom line: he is playing well now, and probably well-positioned for the Web.com championship, and probably wishing there were about two more weeks on the season
