I don't facebook. Ever. I might have had an account for a minute 10 years ago, and quit because I decided it was nonsense. Anyway, I finally reached the tipping point of having enough things I wanted to look at or participate in that pretty much required an account, so I made a new one. I've purposely not fleshed out the account with any of my details, not friended anyone, etc., because I don't want it for that. I have however requested to join several groups primarily related to my newfound mustang hobby. In each case, I had to answer a few questions to prove I wasn't a bot and give a little background. All these groups seem very inclusive, are asking for new members, etc. But I haven't been approved yet in any of them. So that leads me to several possible conclusions:

1) Something is wrong with my facebook account that is making my requests to join go unseen.

2) Something is wrong with my facebook account that is making me look like I shouldn't be accepted to these groups.

3) I just suck and it is very obviously how bad I suck even from 3 or 4 introductory questions.
