for his 3rd birthday. At first he struggled with it but before long he took to it. Started him coasting down the driveway and picking up his feet. He got fast on it really quick. It made sense to me to get a balance bike since the hardest thing to learn when riding a bike is the balance. My thought was that when he graduated to a real bike he would not need train8n* wheels. Well...it turns out he did want training wheels on his big bike. I think he needed to get used to balancing the heavier bike. But the training wheels didn’t stay on for long.
I would definitely recommend getting one. There are some good websites with reviews and rankings out there.
