"The only people that understand..." WHAT? Something greater than myself? Really? No, it's 20 year olds playing football while wearing the a uniform for my alma mater. That's all it is. It's a game that very few people outside of Tech graduates care about and TV brings you 90% of the thrill for 0.5% of the cost, (which is not $100 but for 90% of us more like 10X that and 50X that for season ticket holders) and hassle. Sure it's exciting. Sure I'd like to go to a game, but life is all about choices. I would rather spend four days in the Caribbean than go to two games for about the same cost. I would rather watch it on TV and have the other 45 hours of my weekend available to me.
