There is no substitute for shared experience with 60k other fans.


TV doesn't come close to replicating the experience of being present when big things happen. Watching us beat Pitt last year live is not even remotely comparable to watching such finishes on TV. In a moment like that, you have the rare chance to feel a shared connection to 60K strangers. As cheesy as it sounds, you get a momentary but profound feeling of being connected to something greater than yourself. It's something that cannot be understood through explanation. The only people who really understand are the ones who were there. The experience of watching it on TV pales in comparison. I get that paying $100 a game for the rare chance to be there when something like this happens is a stiff price that just keeps a lot of us away. But no one should fool themselves into thinking TV or any technology can replicate this. It can't.
