My wife said she wanted to try to find an analog clock for our son's bedroom so he can learn how to tell time that way. She's a middle school teacher and commented that most of the kids in her class can't tell time on an analog clock.

Inspiration struck, and I said "Oooh, I wonder if you could make an app where you take a picture of an analog clock with your phone and it tells you the time, or maybe kinda like Google translate, you just get the clock on your screen and it shows you a digital clock with what time it is. That'd be cool!"

She calmly looks at me and replies, "Yeah ... but wouldn't you just look at the clock on your phone instead of going through all that? I mean, if you have your phone out already ..."
