Your shoulder surgery

Did you have total joint replacement for your shoulder? If so, I’d be interested in hearing how things went and how your recovery/rehab progressed. Also, I’d like to know how much pain was involved throughout your recovery.

Both of my shoulders need to be replaced. In fact, I was all IV-ed up and ready for surgery on the left one when they discovered I’d flunked my Protime test (blood still too “thin” after having stopped Coumadin). After that, I never rescheduled the surgery because I started having so much trouble with my spine, which was far worse than the shoulders. But I think my left shoulder is going to have to be done soon. So—any information will be appreciated!
