ESPN's coverage of past World Cups is light years better than Fox.


The only reason that Lalas is on TV is because he is American. It would be impossible for him to get a job somewhere else and commentate on soccer.

He's not a credible national voice and he was a weird guy when he played. He's still weird.

ESPN rotated talking heads in and out depending on which teams were playing and they could actually provide credible commentary on the inner workings of those teams and the mentality they're working under. Plus Bob Ley > Rob Stone
