so along with his SEC and deep south ties, experience as a DC at several programs, out of a job and we have an opening...Well, it's a good fit for all. Bud said it well too pointing out Nix will bring new concepts and wrinkles to the VT D from his time in the SEC as a DC. Most importantly, we have an inexperienced back end 7 on D and Nix's experience and ability to coach may prove more helpful than anything in coaching up youth/inexperience. Will be neat to see it play out.
