Eh, I hate that metric, how many were actual scoring oppt?

You can throw the puck at the goal from 60-70 feet 50 times and have 50 shots but that does not really paint a valid picture. I also don't like the SOG stat because if it is again where the shot is directly at the goalie with the goalie staring at the shooter it really slants the stat. Many of the shots the caps did in game 5 were of that single shot variety until the last 15 minutes or so of the game.

Have to get the goalie moving side to side and/or get traffic in front of the goalie for the redirection, only real ways to score in the playoffs.
