Yeah. The Caps seemed to be trying to take shortcuts

The Caps made a lot of blind passes. They need to have faith in their system and keep it on the wall rather than blindly throw it to the middle. The Caps played two really good periods. They struggled playing complete games against Columbus as well. There was that third period where they were out shot 16 to 1 by the Blue Jackets. Playing a complete game is a challenge for this Caps team.
