The preamble thing. Our social studies teacher offered extra credit for a


variety of things. I was a good student, so I didn't really need extra points, but one thing you could do we recite the preamble for 25 points. I said to myself "hey, I already know the song. I can do that with about 5 minutes of prep"

The numbers "Schoolhouse Rock" didn't teach me anything, though I still can hum "Zero my hero" and "If you skate, you would be great, if you could skate a figure 8"

But some of the social studies ones did. I'm just a bill was a nice summary on how a bill becomes a law, and I also still remember "Elbow Room" about US expansion.
