Stallard, who attended nearly every Virginia Tech home game in 2023, committed while on a visit Monday. He had offers from a host of schools, including West Virginia, Pitt, Maryland, Louisville, Duke and Virginia.
He’s the No. 587 player nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, and the No. 18 player in Virginia.
Stallard was a second-team Class 3 all-state selection after his junior season with the Blue Demons. He’s Tech’s first scholarship commitment from Christiansburg High since quarterback Brenden Motley in the 2012 class.
He’s the second commitment in the Hokies’ 2025 group, joining Texas quarterback Kelden Ryan.

Any OL recruit is welcome here. From right down the street is an added bonus.
Great to snag him right in our own back yard!! Maybe those guys from Salem & Roanoke going elsewhere eventually transfer back.
6 foot 8 thats gigantic. Has Mike Young talked to this guy?
That’s definitely recruiting your footprint! A huge “get” for Coach Pry and staff!!!
Listen, if an O lineman has an offer from Pitt, that’s a heck of a pickup.
That young man has quite the physique…and the cultural connection. I can see only good — and getting better — things ahead !!
Had to feel sorry for the little guys he was pancaking.
That’s a big boy. Glad to get him.
My high school alma mater.
Mine too!

Something weird’s going on with Hudl. Working on getting it to embed correctly.
