There hasn’t been a Virginia Tech home game this season that Christiansburg (Va.) three-star offensive lineman Carter Stallard has missed yet. There have been five of those to this point, and Stallard said he’ll likely attend the Hokies’ home finale Nov. 18 against NC State.

Despite the steady attendance, Stallard isn’t to the point where he’s ready to make a decision. He’s still visiting other schools as well, including this weekend’s trip to Maryland. Stallard said he isn’t sure when that readiness will come. He’s still taking in his recruitment.

“I haven’t decided a date,” Stallard said. “I’ve ruled out some things, and it’s kind of just all in my head. I don’t have anything written down. I still want to see places, like East Carolina, Georgia Tech and North Carolina. The main thing is getting my fourth star. I’ve just got to get more speed built up.”
