Jake Skole

Notes: Skole plans on playing football and baseball on the college level.

As a junior last season, Skole, who plays free safety and wide receiver, was second on the team in tackles with 79, hauled in 850 yards receiving with 10 touchdowns and returned three punts for scores.

In baseball, Skole plays centerfield and is the team's lead-off hitter. His older brother, Matt, is on scholarship for baseball at Georgia Tech.

Head coach Ricky Turner: "Jake is just smooth in whatever he does. We don't get him in much for spring or summer practice, but we know he'll be fine when he steps out there. He works out very hard. He spends a lot of time in the weight room."
