With Virginia Tech set to begin spring drills on March 15, we’re counting down the days here at Tech Sideline by previewing all of the Hokies’ position groups. We did quarterbacks on Wednesday. Now it’s time for the running backs.

What we know

Running backs coach Elijah Brooks was bullish that Tuten would opt for another year of college, though reading the tea leaves with college players is always a difficult task.

“We knew how much he wanted to come back and have a great season, both as a team and individually,” Brooks said. “But you never know until it gets done.”
