There was no such drama in a 38-10 Thursday night win against Syracuse, as thorough a licking Tech’s given an opponent in years and an occasion for Hokies fans to smile.
It had to be a foreign feeling for Tech backers who’ve always waited for the other shoe to drop in recent years, but it might be a sign that things are starting to click for Brent Pry in Year 2.
