It’s been too long since we did Approval Ratings for Virginia Tech’s major athletic department figures. We used to do it every summer, but stopped in the summer of 2020 (COVID got us all outta whack) and haven’t done it since. In fact, it’s been so long since we did this that in our last poll Mike Young had yet to coach a single basketball game for the Hokies.

To give you an idea of what it looks like, here’s the 2019 article that analyzes the voting results. I’ll write a similar article in a week or two after all of this year’s results are in. The polls are open to TSL Pass subscribers only because I don’t want opposing fans to influence the voting in any way.
