Virginia Tech’s modified 2020 football schedule was released this morning. The Hokies open with NC State, play UVA in September, and could possibly play Clemson in back-to-back games in December.
If there’s anything you don’t like about the schedule, there’s no use complaining about it. I don’t like that UVA will get a long time to prepare for the Hokies because they play VMI in week one. I don’t like that UNC doesn’t have to play Clemson or Louisville. But I don’t see the point in complaining about it. Nobody’s schedule is perfect, and at this point I’d settle for playing East Carolina and Liberty all season long if it meant that we actually got to have a football season. Beggars can’t be choosers.
So I’m not going to get particularly negative in today’s article. I’ll comment on what I think is interesting, and what I think is good, and I’ll mostly leave any negative thoughts aside.
