Otherwise, the discussion would shootout games like the 2015 Independence Bowl (55-52 win against Tulsa), 2003 Insight Bowl (52-49 loss to Cal), the 2002 Syracuse game (50-42 3OT loss) and the 1998 UVA game (36-32 loss). Even in shootout games, each unit has its own blame as to why VT loss those games.
