They did get bounced in the first round of the NCAA's though by Cleveland State. That No. 1 Duke squad lost eight of its final 12 games including a first round loss to VCU.

This Virginia team is much, MUCH, better than either of those teams.

EDIT: Actually that's a different Duke team. The 2011 Duke club was much more comparable to this UVA team having been ranked No. 1 most of the year and they made a nice run in the NCAA's.

I still think this UVA victory is tops just by virtue of being on the road but it's a fun discussion.
