it's that there is fluctuating effort from too many guys. There are plenty of times in this conference where the team will play hard but will not be rewarded with a victory, happens to everybody. You can't always play great basketball. However, Buzz has made it abundantly clear that he believes great effort isn't something to be proud of, but rather a prerequisite for having the OPPORTUNITY to win basketball games. Watching guys ball watch when the ball is in the air instead of getting their body on their man time and time again is troubling. I agree with you as I also thought the young guys were a big positive, they seem to get this message. Let's hope Buzz pushes the right buttons to get 5 guys on the floor who will consistently play hard, no matter what year they are.
