Fulmer is the one who pulled the strings to get Curry fired, who turned the coaching search into the disaster it is right now.

Because if you've been following UT as long as you say you have, then you know Fulmer and you know this is EXACTLY in his wheelhouse to pull shenanigans like this. This is who and what he is: he's a self-centered political infighter who wanted control of the UT athletic department and now has it.

That political ability has little/nothing to do with whether he can actually do the job of AD. Well, that's not true: the reputation that comes with it is part and parcel of what's keeping him from being able to hire the right people.

I'm not saying Curry was any great shakes as an AD. But Phil Fulmer is a cancer on that program.

I am unspeakably grateful that Frank isn't that kind of man.
