I'm thinking so, given how all the other teams fared and how the bowls set up.

So in hindsight, maybe the GT loss doesn't affect the season all that much in the grand scheme of things. Had we won, we'd be ranked much higher, but I'm thinking the ranking we have is more indicative of where we really are, in the broad picture.

I do feel like we lost that game, unlike Clemson and Miami, where I feel like we just got beaten by a better team.

Just trying to reconcile all this in my own head. In the end, I guess you are what your record says you are. It would appear that OSU had a similar "letdown" with KSU. So maybe it all evens out in the end? We'll see what happens, but a 10-2 VT would be ranked higher and supposedly "favored" against a 9-3 OSU, and I'm not sure that is really reality (although I hope I'm wrong).
