Every offense has essentially the same "things"

Hand-off to the RB up the middle/between tackles
Off-tackle runs of some sort
Toss sweep
Option pitch to the RB
Read-option with the QB keeping up the middle or outside
Flanker screen
Jet sweep
Slant pass to the WR
Out pass, curl, fade to WRs
Pass down the seam to the TE
Pass (post) down the seam to the TE or WR
Crossing pattern to the WR / Drag route
Wheel route to a RB
Flare pass to a RB
QB dive or QB sneak

The things were not going to change. Formations. Approach (pistol, I-formation, shotgun, under center) are different. Tempo or route trees, reads may be different. Overall the identity and putting the things above into a coherent approach is what makes things different. And what you emphasize. The West Coast offense in the NFL throws to the RBs alot coming out of the backfield. We do it like 3 times a year. But all of those things were not going to change.
