Funny that you mention 1995. The game that I will always remember is 1996 at the Orange Bowl when Carpenter intercepts our backup, Scott Covington, with 2:00 to go in the 4th and takes it 100 yards for the score -- and ultimate 21-7 victory for the Hokies. To me, that is when I first remember VT being a threat.
