You may not think so, but ignoring opposing fans represents some progress from our local fanbase. Not sure if you ever went to a game at the Orange Bowl, but in the early 90's when we were rolling, you were nuts if you wanted to attend a game as a visiting fan -- unless you were part of a large group or otherwise knew how to diffuse a situation (something that most fans don't do well).

I flew back to DC Sunday morning with a number of Miami and Tech fans, and we generally ignored (but noticed) each other -- in part because we were all operating on very little sleep!
