Ultimately, VT outgains Clemson in yards. However, in the 2nd half, does Bud's D really shut down Clemson, or did Dabo pull his foot off the accelerator on his offense? I felt like when Clemson really needed to move the ball, they could. I am torn on whether Bud's D figured a lot out, or did Dabo know the only way VT was going to come back is if his offense messed up. Clemson looked a lot like Franks's earlier teams where Frank would let the D finish the game while the offense would occasionally move the ball, but not make a bad turnover.
