I'm not sure many people, outside Hokie fans, are going to pick us to....

win tomorrow. And it doesn't offend my sensibilities that this is happening. CU is #2 (and there is a reason we are 1-30 vs top 5 teams, they are good!)

But here are my thoughts right now.

We did play them to a 7 point loss (and driving for a tie/win) in the ACC-CG last season. In a game where we could have got smacked, we fought back and had a chance at the end. I felt if Watson had an off night we had a chance to win, but Watson was near perfection.... guess what? We STILL had a chance. Fuente did the things to keep us in the game against the eventual NC.

Which brings me to my next thought, Fuente and Foster will find ways to keep us in this game. I'm very impressed with this staff's ability to adjust and game plan. I'm very interested what they have up their sleeve.

Have we shown everything yet?? There was some talk that the Delaware performance stemmed from a lack of preparation for the FCS team. This may not be true, but if it was then who were we scheming for that week??

As an 7.5 point underdog that practically nobody is going to pick to win, we are playing with house money. Lose and you were supposed to lose. So why leave anything on the table??

Gameday?? Nightgame?? Do I need say more??

And seeing AJ Bush run in his cleanup time, any way he gets on the field given Evans success last year??
That guy seems to fall for 10 yards....

Anyway, I just want a good game and this should give us an idea where we are. Either way i think we are ahead of schedule! GO HOKIES!! Go 1-0!!
