Agreed. Fuente landing a QB from Chicago, keeping PSU from flipping him and


evaluating/offering him so early compared to other programs speaks volumes about his ability as the QB whisperer too.
Fuente offered QP before he was "hot" and then once he played himself into the elite QB category during summer camps, a bunch of programs came hard for him and to test his strength of commitment to VT. Penn State put the full-court press on him at one point and he didn't even entertain them.

After seeing Fuente land a 4-star JUCO from *Texas* within weeks after his hiring at VT, still keeping his *Michigan* QB committed, and then adding a 4-star QB from *North Carolina* (who Notre Dame was recruiting hard) is ridiculously impressive. Add one from *Chicago* of all places. And he did all this before the start of his 2nd season. He brought in more QB talent in his first 16 months than VT landed in the last several years before he arrived combined; and we all know you can't be elite without top-notch QB's nowadays. Exciting times.
