A 12-1 ACC champ VT would have likely lost to Clemson

once and then beaten Clemson in the ACC Championship. I'd say that team gets in. But only 70% chance and highly dependent on the competition.

Agree, that same record for Clemson is in, and quite frankly, should be in. Clemson should be ranked #1 until they lose, and should get the same kind of benefit of the doubt that Alabama and OSU have enjoyed over the years.
