If it happens the reason will be offensive pace in combination with

physicality of play. It is not one but both like running as fast as you can while having fight your way through heavy brush in a jungle

The offense is starting to pick up the speed from last year. I can no longer fast forward my DVR 30 seconds ahead at the end of an offensive play and catch the start of the next play. Syracuse proved last year what a crappy team running a 100 play offense can do to a good defense and better team.

Last Saturday ECU played like they were jacked on amphetamines for the first quarter. The 2nd quarter they started to wear down and by the 3rd they totally crashed. I saw their players at the end just give up and not go for gang tackles.

Understanding that Clemson is far far superior opponent than ECU and they will be dominate for at least a quarter and half on defense. If Tech's D can play lights out and I expect they will and cause an early Clemson turnover(s) and/or multiple 3 and outs during this time, I believe our chances of winning it get really high.
