Just my thoughts.


We have a RS freshman QB and many new players throughout the offense. So there is a learning curve with these kids. You can say, well they played well under the lights the week before. First game v ranked WVU is not the same as playing FCS team. We were bound for a let down. Hard to convince the team to get up for Delaware.

Also, it's unlikely that CJF was going to open up the playbook against a FCS team. We have two teams coming up that we are better than. That doesn't mean we automatically win, but we should. Let's be prepared for some more conservative play the next two weeks prior to Clemson. If we are really struggling in those games, then I'd expect the playbook to open up a bit.

That's my hope at least, that we are sandbagging it until Clemson.
