Memo to Nike and Whit Babcock: Our colors are Chicago Maroon and Burnt Orange! Enough please with distorting our image and brand with ridiculous uniform combinations, obsession with black, and weekly changes that must certainly confuse our passing quarterbacks looking for consistent helmets! When Alabama, Clemson, Texas, even Virginia, start wearing this garbage, I guess I'll rest my case. But after Boise State, Tennessee, and many other games where Nike staffers in Oregon distort our image -- and we let them -- I've had enough! I can describe a Clemson uniform each Saturday, blindfolded, and can for most national programs. Shouldn't we expect and demand the same for Virginia Tech?!
