I was mentioning to my wife last night that all of the big Texas programs had meltdowns of epic proportions over the weekend and her response was "well, duh...a lot of those guys are probably from Houston and dealing with other stuff right now."

I have to admit, this line of thinking didn't so much as cross my mind. Doing a little research I found that for Texas and A&M, both teams have at least 3-4 starters on either side of the ball (and as many second stringers) from the Houston area. I have to assume the same for Baylor. This gives some credence to her argument IMO.

...sidenote: Kalvin Kline transferred to A&M apparently. I had no idea.
