He has an entire year absorbing Holgs' offense. He's been in the position meetings for every game last year. He has a high football IQ.

He's been repping as the starter since early in the year as Holgs said he was very confident he would be cleared based on NCAA precedents.

He's not a high school kid who doesn't know what D1 football is about. He's already been through the trial by fire at FL.

No doubt Foster's D will be stout but expecting Grier to come like a deer in headlights.

Lastly, Holgs knows a little bit about what a quality QB looks like. He's said Grier is the real deal and is ready.
