Then he had all spring to practice as QB1 (Holgs said a long time ago he was VERY confident he would be cleared based on NCAA precedent), and then all Fall to practice as the starter.

He has been through trial by fire at a major D1 college football level and is now older and wiser.

Just exactly what are you basing your hopes on that he won't be ready?
