Do you think a potential achilles heel to the 3-3-5 are teams
that use misdirection as its bread and butter running game? Particular teams that target the A (C-G) and B (G-T) gaps at an angle. Even though WVU does a lot of movement and offenses can have difficulty predicting who is coming from what angle, it seems like attacking the A and B gaps at an angle the best chance to get to the next level (aka LB level). Once a RB gets to that level then it basically becomes a foot race to see how many additional yards he can get on the carry. So I would think WVU's defense may be more vulnerable to traps, counters, and variations of off tackle running plays.
