Definitely want to see the DDay Memorial. Would be glad to have recommendations on that from Mrs Fiji. We are both history buffs and thoroughly enjoyed the National WW2 Museum in New Orleans (also worth the trip, if you haven't done that yet). Outdoors activities sound great too. Would love to work in Appomattox as well since we love civil war history. My son is in school in DC so have already visited most of the northern Virginia civil war sites already.
