In planning our tailgate, I inquired to Redskins staff to ask what time the lots will open for tailgating. This is a email response from a Redskins Ticket Office Sales & Events Manager:

"I believe we are doing our normal Redskins game times. So game is 7:30pm, Gates would open at 5:30pm and parking lot would open at 3:30pm. Though I imagine they would open closer to 3pm knowing the crowd that we’ll have. "

We are in the RedZone lot but I assume this would pertain to all of the lots immediately surrounding the stadium. Seems to be pretty late to me. I would also assume many fans have plans to be there in the morning and midday. Not that I am surprised at all, but the Redskins seems to be out of touch with the college tailgate experience.

Has anyone heard anything different for the timing? I'm hoping the response was a error
