Heard on WDBJ7 this kid from my neighborhood HS who played against the Beck kid from Blacksburg HS in last years state championship game and set state records I believe for rushing yards maybe scoring too, verbaled to Richmond after interest from JMU and Tech. Do any of you in the know guys know how much interest Tech actually had? There was one other school mentioned but Techs interest actually stood out and after watching him play, we where really hoping he would be a Hokie. Not an expert on scouting football talent, but not sure he had that much in the speed department? Bruiser type runner and decent LB? Would be courious to know what you guys think and your opinions if you have seen him play or know what Techs interest level really was? Thank you.
