Never said I agree with the rankings, and I really could care less where the U.S. ranks. And it is not indifference; I simply do not have the sophisticated worldly travel/living experience to compare. My original response was to highlight that maybe, just maybe, some other intelligent life-forms have different sentiments on the freest of the free.

Personally, I feel VT is the greatest, the best, the bee’s knees, BUT since it is the only university I ever attended or offered me employment, do I truly have the data to compare other academies?

No intent to offend, but my warped wiring merely finds certain jingoism very, very entertaining.
