VT was still VPI when I entered as a freshman in 1969.


I'm still proud of VPI and frequently wear my VPI hat. We became VPI&SU in the spring semester of my freshman year and most of the people I knew didn't like it. We were polled and other options lost to VPI&SU unfortunately. I prefer VIRGINIA TECH - THE UNIVERSITY of VIRGINIA.
